Simulates electrical components and devices that depend on electrostatic, magnetostatics, and electromagnetic quasi-statics applications, particularly coupled to other physics.
The Plasma Module can be used to model all types of non-nuclear plasma reactors. Detailed circuit schematics can be included in the model via the circuit editor in the AC/DC or RF Modules. Predefined multiphysics couplings for the most common types of reactors simplifies the modeling process by automatically implementing the complicated coupling between the different physics.
The CFD Module combines all the capabilities of a dedicated CFD package with the Multiphysics capability of COMSOL. The new Module will feature tailored functionality and interfaces for fluid dynamics, heat transfer and mass transport.
The Material Library contains information for 2500 materials including the elements, minerals, rocks, soil, metal alloys, oxides, steels, thermal insulators, semiconductors, and optical materials.
Seamlessly integrate COMSOL Multiphysics with MATLAB to extend your modeling with scripting and to build your own applications that incorporate your models.
