HeavyHorse Workstation
The HeavyHorse workstations model line now contains models based on the newest AMD Opteron six-core processors with Istanbul core. The new twelve- and twenty-four-core models make an unique platform for demanding parallel computing tasks and provide unbeatable performance to power consumption and price ratio. Selected models are now equipped with ATI Radeon 5870 graphic cards with 1GB of memory and high-capacity 1 TB hard discs.
Distributed Computing
HeavyHorse - multi-processor workstations designed for optimal performance in sophisticated numerical computing.
Modern software tools for numerical computing allow users to execute calculation with large size data and support parallel algorithms, which can strongly reduce calculating time. There are many possible configurations of such computer cluster - individual processes (workers) can work on separate computers connected through LAN, but it is also possible to use several processors within one workstation. This solution brings several advantages like improved performance and easier management of parallel applications.
HeavyHorse Workstation
Parallel workstations HeavyHorse are powerful and affordable high-performance computing systems based on the 64-bit quad or six-core processors AMD Opteron. Workstations are available in configurations of 8 to 24 processor cores.
Workstations HeavyHorse can be optionally delivered as ready-to-use systems with pre-installed complete environment for performing distributed and parallel computations: MATLAB, MATLAB Distributed Computing Engine or COMSOL Multiphysics.
